2. Please show up to the meeting Thursday, September 19th 6pm at The Las Virgines Water District 4232 Las Virgenes Rd Calabasas, CA 91302. We need BODIES there to make an impression on the Supervisors!

Under the draft North Area Plan, all activities allowed in areas zoned Resort & Recreation (R-R) (Triunfo) will be allowed on Lobo Canyon. This means commercial party venues, like Brookview and Triunfo Creek Vineyards that have been plaguing our neighbors on Triunfo and lower Lobo for years can multiply throughout Lobo and operate right next door to you, affecting your safety, peace and property values. A group of neighbors have formed “Protect our Canyons,” and hired representation to work one on one with County officials to stop the commercialization of our canyons. 

The TLC Board feels strongly that the effort needs to be supported to protect our way of life. That's why we recently contributed $4,000 towards the effort. But, this is a fraction of the cost and much more is needed to make sure we are successful. Consider: the evening after the fire, weddings were scheduled to occur at both Brookview and TCV. Ask yourself how our community could have evacuated? Multiply that by new venues on Lobo. Please join the effort to protect our canyon and contribute on the button below.
